The Theory of Speech Acts according to Searle (1969)
A speech act is a functional unit in communication. It is an
act that the speaker performs when he makes an utterance. Austin (1962) and
Searle (1981) established that whenever we say something, three simultaneous
acts are performed: Locutionary act, illocutionary act, Perlocutionary act.
To you know and memorize the theory is to speak is to act.

You just give the defenition about speech act theory based on the expert, and tell three types(locution,illicution and oerlicution) of speech act. But you forgot to put the example. That's so sad. You know that we need the context not just theory.

BalasHapusThank you anyway. Actually i have the result why i gave short explanation cause i know all of people they don't like to read anything maybe just 1% from 10% people in the world want to read. So that's why i gave shorter explanation to be can all of people want to read that my blog.
Hapusyou know Explanation is a text which tells processes relating to forming of natural, social, scientific and cultural phenomena. Explanation text is to say ‘why’ and ‘how’ about the forming of the phenomena. It is often found in science, geography and history text books. so how can "explanation" be short?
